The Eye Place is pleased to announce that local optometrist Kay Hazard has joined the team and will be working at our Hessle practice.
Kay's passion for optics started at a young age, after declining the usage of her first pair of frames as she didn't like the look of them, she eventually got her first much-desired pair of contact lenses.
Kay has been a qualified optician for just over 30 years, working in the Hull city centre for the majority of her career at Dolland & Aitchison Opticians, before moving into the independent sector in 2017 - working mostly in the Cottingham, Beverley & Hedon villages, saying “The refreshing village environment allowed me the freedom to provide optimal patient care."
“I recently moved to The Eye Place where I reconnected with three old work colleagues, re-establishing our old team from years back and creating that friendly environment I remembered as a child getting my first eye test.”
