Gregory & Seeley Opticians Fleet Street has been at the heart of The City since 1912. The practice has been run by many generations of the same family until Mr Hall, grandson of Mrs Seeley, retired in 2012. Now in it's 3rd location on Fleet Street, the practice was established during the age of press barons and Fleet St journalists but has evolved, with this area, to serve the law and finance industries. We are now known for our exquisite wooden/buffalo horn eyewear and world class eye examinations.

I had my hearing tested here by Michael. He provided a first class service. He did a very detailed test and then really to time to run though various options. He kindly loaned me hearing aids for a few weeks in order to try before buy and helpfully checked in from time to time see how things were going and assist with any teething problems. I highly recommend his service.

So impressed with this shop. Had an acute issue and they were able to see me on the same day. Have also had an eye test there before and it was really detailed and I felt very well looked after. The staff are all really nice but Marta in particular is absolutely fantastic.

I popped in to ask whether someone could fix my glasses - the frame had been bent during a game of volleyball. The lovely people inside were extremely patient and fixed my glasses for free, within five minutes. The attention and care I received during the short time I was there, even as a non-paying customer, was very much appreciated. I'll be returning to get contact lenses! :)

If one is looking for a 100% patient focused, very informative and extremely pleasant consultation, Marta is the best optometrist to go to. I cannot prise her enough on all possible levels. I gained a deep understanding of my eyes health, how they perform, predictions and how I can help myself to feel comfortable with changes in my eyesight. If one is hoping for an exclusive look of the shop as on photographs, one will be disappointed. Lots of photographs were taken in a different shop which is far from this one. Nevertheless the downstairs (there was no upstairs as on photos) had a nice old school vibe and peacefulness of the ''past era'' which I liked. The choice of quality glasses is generous, great for anyone who is prepared to pay the price for high class comfort. Nevertheless I during glass sales part with a sales assistant I missed a bit more focusing on my everyday eye vision challenges against my budget, what will be pyrones and cones of a particular choice. A very good overall experience though making it want me to stick with the brand. I highly recommend The Eye Place at Fleet Street.
