Gregory & Seeley Opticians Fleet Street has been at the heart of The City since 1912. The practice has been run by many generations of the same family until Mr Hall, grandson of Mrs Seeley, retired in 2012. Now in it's 3rd location on Fleet Street, the practice was established during the age of press barons and Fleet St journalists but has evolved, with this area, to serve the law and finance industries. We are now known for our exquisite wooden/buffalo horn eyewear and world class eye examinations.

The Eye Place @ Gregory & Seeley Opticians - Fleet Street

Excellent service. Staff very polite and knowledgeable. I had one of the more extensive eye tests and was amazed at the amount of detail I was given. Recommended

I had forgotten my contacts prior to a work trip to London. The Eye Place were extremely helpful in getting me a pair of lenses for free. I probably would have paid for a full pack for both eyes given my high prescription but they didn't even try to sell me anything knowing that I'd only be in town for the day. If this is how they treat transient non-customers then I'm sure their real customers are in good hands.

Had a problem with my specs. They fixed them there on the spot at no charge even though i hadn't bought them there. Very friendly and well-informed with a great choice of upscale glasses. Will be going back next time I need a new pair or an eye test.

Great eye test. However, I emailed to ask the company to send a confirmation that my sight had changed so that I could reclaim £75 from my company. They didn't reply so I've knocked a point off. I would also say that the place is a bit "snobby".
